Blog #119--Twitter(?), Ultra-Liberalism, Compartmentalizing or Compartmentalization: don't call me a slot!

Lol for the first draft of this being called: "Popped my Twitter Cherry and am Now Very Confused" So I made a Twitter account (ugh) for a stupid reason, and I really feel like I've missed out on some part of the internet that I should have jumped onto before. I think it's been simplified, but I see absolutely no reason why people should even be interested in that stuff. It's such bullshit. The hashtags... the limited characters...the following... the retweets, WHYYY? Why don't you go take a walk instead? I haven't been on it in a while. I don't understand why people like this so much, I think this might be even more individualizing than before! People are so into ultra-liberalism these days, being open about everything. Well, hey let me tell you something:

1. Ultra-liberalism is not good. It's not good to slot everything in a little corner and call it something else than what it already is. I hate hearing 'women can be men' and 'I'm transgender queer pansexual' or whatever I don't know anymore all the terms. This is how it is: pansexual means that if someone came up to you and said: I'm in love with you, you would want to bang them. You're probably not that, so that one I would like that it goes to die, because it really sounds like you have issues concerning space and sexuality. I get that people can legit think they were born in the wrong body, like God was like 'I'm making a boy' and then he made a woopsie and it had a vagina (not a creationist here but you get it). It's all right, all that, obviously, like GO AMERICA for being same-sex yay marriage, but if you have a vagina, you're a female, whether you like it or not. Secondly, you can't say to women not to be women because they're traditional. So what if she likes to wear a burka? So what if she likes to be disciplined and slapped when she's being too emotional? Oh no, women shouldn't be subdued... why not? Aren't you liberal? It goes full circle at one point. Anyway, extreme stand-points like ultra-liberalism is what made the Nazis, so bravo.

2. Compartmentalization: don't call me a slot!
When you call someone 'transgender queer' or something, you're slotting them into this alienating box that doesn't seem to fit anywhere but in its own universe. I'm not familiar with all the terms, there are far too many. There are only a few combinations of sexualities and genders and most of them are constructed anyway. It is a question of construction, definitely, of defining what is natural and what is the X. And in no way am I saying that being gay or queer is wrong, I'm liberal and I think it's normal, but it sucks to have to put those people in a box and be like: yep, there you and and we're here, you know... us copulating types and all. Anyway, I have another post at one point where I talk about the bullshitness of the equality sign that was on Facebook for a while that will probably resurface soon about the inclusiveness of free love and how law will still strike down certain couples due to grey area ethics, which I will also talk about in another blog.

Comment, let's discuss! Peace out, bros and bras! xoxox

Blog #118--The Hill Talk--

The Hill Talk is good, honest and liberal political news website that I'm recommending. With the media being more free these days on the internet, it's difficult to find anything with quality, which is why we need these cool websites. They have podcasts now as well, which are humourous. I've always wanted to have some sort of Green newspaper and with the internet I can have that, well it's sort of what I have now, even the blog is green! I just like to support fellow Canadians in their endeavours! I'm just going to put 'u's everywhere now, just because. All right, that's that for that!

Peace out, y'alls, ah let's do a character of the day!

Character of the Day:
Sera

Appearances: Hearthgarden, Return to Hearthgarden
Bio: Sera is a servant, born and raised in Hearthgarden. Her mother is a handmaiden to the noble family and her father a guard for the Marquis. She is raised to serve, taught to be a receptacle for all the noblemen and noblewomen's whiles. Sera is best friends with Dia, who prides herself on having grown-up affairs with older men, which intrigues her. Her intrigue soon turns into something far too close to reality as she is picked out by a beautiful nobleman, who makes her his personal servant. Fortunately, her servant spirit subdues in the noble a beast that desires to be pleasured and cajoled every second of the day, since she shows absolutely no reluctance, as she was taught. Their relationship is an interesting power-play right up until she meets a very able competitor.

Blog #117: Pillars of Eternity Kickstarter/Coolest Ol' Game Ever!

So the kick-ass game Pillars of Eternity came out, which is in many ways a spiritual successor to the amazing Baldur's Gate, an isometric aventure game. They're making a card game, which is awesome because I used to love Magic the Gathering but now I'm an adult and I'm getting a bit bored of Magic, but this game should be really great!

Points I love about Pillars and Lords of the Eastern Reach:

1. It's not based on dungeons and dragons. New lore. New monsters. New themes and tropes!
2. It's physical, physical! I'm hate buying digital games sometimes and this one isn't!
3. Awesome stretch goals, literally, figuratively, sexually they're awesome!
4. Developers are small and cohesive, they care about you, they want to make something worthwhile!
5. Very cool characters, easy gameplay, awesome for kids!

Sooooooo.... I'm super excited!!!!! I'm thinking we can get enough backers to bust their company through the roof (let's try to beat Bloodstained, anyone? :p) Anyway, if you think this is super nuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuurdy then whatevs, bra, but if you're into it, LINK, the hero of time:
