I love Bok Choi, but I had to learn to cook it into something edible. Bok choi (baby or adult) cannot be eaten raw, because it is toxic for the body. It must be eaten cooked. Now, this is a recipe I do to make a side dish or whole plate of this man, it's good! Enjoy!!
Soya Sauce, Garlic, Ginger Bok Choi
Ingrdients:
Soy sauce
Garlic clove
Ginger root
Bok choi
Preparation:
Okay, take a knife and very grotesquely separate the leaves from the white part, like it doesn't matter that much. Cut the white part vertically. Make sure it's washed!! :P The leaves you can cut them horizontally if you want. In a pan, put some cooking oil ;) and heat up with minced garlic and grated ginger. I didn't put like... precise mesurements because it doesn't matter how much you use as long as it's only a bit, because you really just want to flavour your bok choi. For a lot of bok choi one or two cloves max, and ginger, ginger is suuuper strong, so really just a little bit will do. When your oil and prep is really warm, put in the WHITE part of the bok choi, not the leaves. Add abouta tablespoon of soy sauce and then add to taste, but don't put too much, that's also very tasteful. Wait until the white part becomes sort of like... glossy, and then add the leaves. This is when you put in a bit more soya sauce really if you like the strong miso taste. Wait until the leaves shrink and yeah, the whole thing shrinks so much and then serve!
It's sooo delicious!!!

Stacy Winter (Omega as F**k)
Apperances: Shambles, Needle and Chain.
Bio: Stacy is Kara's stigmatic, fraternal, twin sister. She and Kara share a very close, almost intimate relationship that does not revolve around the physical, but the emotional. Kara hides her pain and sadness and expresses hate. Stacy hides her hate and cruelty and expresses the sadness. They come from the same strange place and they abandonned their mother early on after their entrance into society (or non-society aka the wild). While Kara decides to comform because of her love for Chief, Stacy refuses and wants to live a submissive lifestyle with the Even Pack. The Even Pack had been responsible in the past for the death of Duke's entire family and he seeks them to have his vendetta. Stacy ends up being the only survivor of Duke's endeavor and she loses and gains so much from this incident that it changes her personality until Kara and her have an emotional switch, because of their stigmata.

Blog #46 --Cooking Oils, which ones are healthy?--
So you're ready to fry! You have a stove, a pan and some delicious bok choi, but wait... no oil! So you run down to your local market and go into the oil section only to be bombarded with choice. Which one is the right one? I spoke to my organic vegan friend today and I got a lot of things cleared up. I'll make a list so it's easier.
Canola Oil: Canola oil seems like a good choice. Not too fat, and always spoken positively about. Indeed! Canola oil is great for making salad dressings and keeping pasta from sticking if you've made a large batch. What's I'm trying to say is that canola is great for COLD situations. Heating canola oil transforms it into a near-toxin that causes cardiovascular diseases.
Coco Oil: Expensive in small doses, but available at some COSCO stores in bulk for a reduced price, coco oil is one of the best oil for heating, because it does not transform and has a delicious taste. For HEAT, and health, go for coco!

Blog #45 --Depression and Binge Eating--
So if you've read my other posts, I've mentionned before, I have Depression. No, I'm not depressed, because then that would make me have a cause to be so. Sometimes, I'll be the happiest person in the world and then, BAM, I feel so so so down and so sad. I don't know if I'm repressing something, but my soul is hurt, by something that is probably in my past, that probably has something to do with the terrible people I was working with for the past few springs and summer. I quit my jobs not at all satisfied because I KNEW I was the one who was doing the right thing. I choose Freedom over Autocracy, and sometimes over Order, and that's not to society's liking. Anyway, my Depression makes me want to binge eat. I never feel full and the things I feel like eating are chocolate, ice cream, and chips. I don't eat this usually, because I'm like super vegan and healthy, but I feel like I need it. It's a comfort food, yes, but I know that I shouldn't give in. Well... at least I'm not doing drugs. Like seriously, I'm eating chocolate like right now, right now... and it's so good. It's like Lupin giving chocolate to Harry after the dementors, you know? Personally, I think it's okay to binge eat a bit, maybe for that one day you're feeling like shit, but like every single comfort your soul finds, it'll want to latch on, and it'll be harder to pull away from the goodness of sugar and salt and fat. I was just talking to my bf and I noticed that as I had my cold, I was taking my pumps, Bricanyl and Pulmicort (which work really well btw) and then I stopped taking them. I think... I might be having some withdrawal after-effects. They are stimulants... hmm... idk. Whatevs, I'm not dead.
Character of the Day:
Arias Hammond
Apperances: TAFOW, TAMOW, TBOV, Shambles (?)
Bio: Arias is Rutherford's first born son. He is born to be an Alpha Male, but due to his confusion of life and wariness of his brother's religion, he is not mature enough to rule the town. Lancelot rules it in his stead of the time being. Arias is brainwashed by his younger Christian brother, Redfield, who attempts to make him believe everyone in the village is satan and terrible. Redfield ends up convincing him to act out a cruel deed, and for the entire book and sequel, Arias attemps to put the pieces of his destruction back to together, outside and inside of himself. Arias is an emotional and unsure character, who can be apathetic toward certain events and very sentimental about others, especially when it comes to the woman he ends up choosing as his Bride.

Blog #44--Death Obsession--
Some people have this huge obsession with death. Skeletons and dark magical rituals rule their lives, and some even wish they were dead. But death is inevitable, and it's going to happen to you. I find myself less and less interested in deathly things because it scares me, a bit, I think. Why should someone focus their life on death? You're going to be dead far longer than alive. Then again, a lot of people find inspiration in death, in painting grim reapers and things and I understand them. Death is unknown, and the unknown has a lot of emotions concerning it, including beauty and wonder. My mother never understood why I was so fascinated by death, by violence and blood. I write about callous vampires and werewolves, and find so much beauty in the devastation or corruption of things because then there is so much potential for rebirth. My version of rebirth is often a transformation, sort of like a larva into a butterfly. From earth to air, a grounded concept that morphs into a spiritual ideal. I like to listen to music that touches on concepts of death, or dangerous emotions, and religion because they are so powerful and relatable. I was in class and my friend say how the phamaceutical business is always seeking new ways to rejuvenate one's skin, how the medical industry is constantly seeking a way to prolong life, but it's all for naught. There is no fountain of youth and there is no going back, not for us. We humans are intelligent and emotional beings made to live experiences that cause pleasure and happiness all the while getting through tough times with pride and confidence.

Apperances: Shambles, TAOB, TAMOW, My Memoir.

He lives through everything and is still alive in my future chornology, because of his Vampirism. Fernand becomes Margrave, rules with Maurizio and only has one good friend left from the Old World. He learns how to place his soul on collateral and go to the Udacorra to see his beloved.

Blog #43 --Vegan Options and Problems--
So you've decided to be vegan.
That's a big step and there are barely any worries that go with that. However, one must be careful. It's difficult to go from drinking milk and eating cheese to drinking soy or almond milk and 'faux-mage' as we say here in French Land. :P jk jk.
I found myself developping a small lactose intolerance this summer and went on soy milk, which ended up also causing me to have digestional problems. I talked with someone who was 'more vegan than me' and found out that a lot of people have intolerances to soy after being weaned off milk. Almond Milk, however, does not have that issue, and is actually healthier for you because it contains those good fats a person needs to injest in a day.

Blog #42 --Living Wannabe Vegan--
If ever you are in Lennoxville, Quebec, you have to stop at Espaces-Temps, a small café owned by a wonderful woman, who cooks mostly vegan. Her presence and views on life and society are inspiring, and I find myself being totally wannabe vegan. I wish I was, and I've been asked if I was a couple times, but no... I eat meat and drink milk. I could be vegerarian, since I stay away from red meat, but I know many people who cannot resist sinking their teeth into a fresh, delicious steak cooked for thirty seconds on a super hot pan smothered in peppercorn gravy. Okay, I'm salivating right now, but I must... eat... this lettuce... ha ha. Psyche. Lettuce sucks. Today I was cooking with fresh Coriander (Cilantro) and I put too much and it rather ruined my dish. One must be careful with how much they put in a dish. Sadness -_- But hey it's okay! Oh oh! I have a recipe for sweet potato fries. Let's go!
Recipe for Sweet Potato Fries
Cut up sweet potato in 'juliennes' like fry-shaped strips, like. :P
Put in a pan and add 'greek' spices you can buy at the strore. If you have none, thyme and rosemary and salt should do.
Put a bit of cooking oil at the bottom on an aluminum tray and slide them in the oven on the middle rack at 400 degrees for around 15 minutes. If you cook them at a low temperature, they'll end up being mushy. Bah, they're going to be mushy a bit anyways because sweet potato fries at restaurants are deep-fried, which is a bit more unhealthy, however you're totes allowed to like that!
Take em out, but if they're not cooked enough, try intervals of 5 mins to make sure they don't burn. Stay with them, don't start checking Facebook :P (my roommate does that tsk tsk tsk) and then dab them out in paper towel to remove the oil, unless you like the oil. I'm just trying to make this like healthy(er) lol.
Enjoy!! :)
PS: I know my cooking, my father was a chef cook when he was younger and he taught me a lot. If you have any sort of question, I can answer it! By the way, you can make this recipe with normal potatoes too, but I would lower the oven to 350 because those actually become crispy. Make sure to salt them though, because or else it's less good. Vinegar them if you like that too!
Character of the Day:
Duregar
Appearances: Pillow Talk, Needle and Chain, Ashenlust
Bio: Mysterious and daunting, Duregar took part in the crime that brought his Alpha (Kara) to St. Matthew's Residential. Secretive about his past and origins, dark-skinned, muscular and violent Duregar hides his emotions, although sympathizes unexpectedly with Chief in Needle and Chain. He lives to protect his Alpha and to make sure her every need and want is satisfied.
Rather short bio today. I'm so excited though! Thanks everyone for following and entering my universe! I realize that a lot of characters recently don't have last names! :P My Fishes!!!!! Feed zeeemm!! :3

Blog #41 --Fighting a Cold--
I've read about a lot of gross medicines from the earth one can make to cure a cold but I found that one needs to get rid of the bacteria (virus?) by actually having a cold, but it's the prolonging of the cold that can beat one down (especially during midterms -_-) However! I have an easy, delicious home made recipe that worked very well for me and I have asthma so colds usually stay more than a week and this one it's been a week and yes, I have taken pumps (because or else I can't breathe) but trust me, do this:
Boil water
Grate fresh ginger root
Infuse ginger in water (any quantity, well not a lot, it's really strong)
If you like nutmeg, you can add that to taste but just a bit
And there! Easy, delish cold-buster! But don't stop there! This is a delicious immune-system booster, relaxer, sugar-free drink that does not involve tea leaves. You can add a bit of honey if you want to make it into a desert after-meal drink, or simply enjoy it before going to bed! It's great!
KO!
YOU WIN! (cold loses and crawls back beaten up in corner of the ring)
Character of the Day:
Seraphine
Appearances: Santa Forgives, Pillow Talk, Needle and Chain, Ashenlust, Shambles.
Bio: Though Seraphine is not at all near being a main character, she appears often because I really like her. She is a Z-Person with purplish skin, biological sister to Marcellus, ruler of the Forà in Munrithe's division of Z's. She is beautiful, smart, kind, but a bit of a rebel and she inherits a pyromaniac and kleptomaniac tendency over the years. She is the leader of her own group of rebels who have gathered at St. Matt's, which includes narcoleptic Elmo, her emotional interest. Elmo and Seraphine would be the equivalent of high school boyfriend and girlfriend (hee hee you're cute) status because Z-People do not have sexual and very little romantic affections. Seraphine has a Jaguar (in the 2000's) that keeps on being 'borrowed' by different inmates such as Ronolov and Chief. She is very wealthy, and she is released not long after Ashenlust begins (as she is being bailed by her brother) however she debates whether to leave because of RA (Release Alienation) since living at St. Matt's is so different than the real world.
Thanks for following everyone! :)

Blog #40 --Pageviews?--
I realized that I'm actually getting pageviews! I don't know from whom, but holy crap this is amazing! Thank you whomever you are who is totally read my art! My ranting, bah you can give or take all that but my characters really are my babies, they're real! I write and they come to life in a way that I no longer control what they do. That's why I love them and am often surprised by what comes up. I am a dark soul and often I torture my characters with dark, bleeding pasts, but always brighter futures, because that's how I see myself. I will strive through the light, in whomever's arms that are willing to hold me. Aww... that's so sweet! Makes me think of the song my Elliott Smith (I know, I love him!) um... Son of Sam, and he says: Shiva opens her arms now, to make sure I don't get too far..." sweet :3 He was such an inspiration for Pillow Talk and Needle and Chain. I miss St. Matt's. I was talking to my CR today, Victoria, and we both realized that Santa Forgives not longer works because of numerous things and needs to be rewritten. Sigh. One day. I still want to find a scribe, but I need money before I can employ someone. Am I allowed actually employing someone? I probably need a permit because I will not pay someone underneath the table, that is... not something I would no. No... kniw kniw. I should study in the library but I always want to go home. I love my home, despite not loving it that much. Oh well, one day I'll get my own place and I'll live there until I die. Probs not, but that would be ideal. All right, let's see, one of my newest characters is up for grabs today. Enjoy!!
Character of the Day:
Melodica Vogel
Appearances: Ashenlust
Bio: Vice-president (sort of) of the Rennemaus, a group of Vampires that spy undercover on everyone formed by mostly children of Juniper and Fiachra, Melodica moves in to a small truck-stop town and takes over, making all humans her slave so she can have a private base near the highway. Poppy, Ethan and other prominent characters are under her when we meet her in Ashenlust which takes place in the year 2012? Around. Chief finds her and she tells him their secret: they can use and create Pink Fire, an energy-draining flame that only burns material things, but not any flesh. Pink Fire is Pentallan, belonging to the Soraine clan of Vein Drinkers, and it sucks all the energy out of the lampposts in the small abandonned village and of any human who tries to rebel. Melodica tells Chief to keep it a secret and in exchange Poppy helps him follow out the most important mission of his entire life (which is something, considering the fact that Chief is over 2000 years old). Melodica wears pink frou-frou rococo-style mini-skirts and her blonde hair is in ponytails. She's like a lollipop Harley Quinn, still a bit violent, but I think a lot more sane. :)
All right! Thanks for following!! :))

Blog #39 --Lovely Couples--
Been dealing with depression for the last day or two... not sure, the days go by so fast. I actually wrote and bit, but I often feel so down I don't know what to do. I'm managing to get over it and do other things, but I'm also worried and confused half the time. I refuse to sleep because I don't want to dream. I hate dreaming, so much. I think I must be the only person on the face of the earth who doesn't. Nah, others have been afflicted with the Night Mares. Lazy :p. So on a cuter note, I want to mention the cuteness of some of my couples in my books. I'll name a few couples who had normal-ass beginnings and lives, yeah, there are some!
Monday + Jolin
Reagan + Theodore
Finola + Simon
Juniper + Fiachra
Jefferson + Amy
Aw, young human or supernatural love... isn't it wonderful? I especially love Monday and Jolin, they're like the ultimate sweeties; they love each other so much and it's so natural, despite the hell that they live in, you know war-torn Merica. I think I'll write her as a character description now. Yeah, makes me feel like a person inside. Hu hu hu...
Character of the Day:
Monday
Appearances: Emergence Earth
Bio: Monday lives in the next town over Moondisk, and Jolin an oilpunk who creates machinery that can run on latex gasoline, makes himself a motorcycle just so he can visit her every single day. When she grows old enough, she moves in with him and they live with Jude in a small trailer, but it's all that they need. Jolin loves her more than everything else in the world, and nothing ever stands in their way. Monday is a kind, and ditzy girl who enjoys helping others and teaching children, but spends her days earning 'tickets' at the Post Office. Monday does get influenced by Earthshore whiplash and gains the ability to persuade people into doing her bidding. She only uses it for the good. She and Jolin have children, grow old together and die almost at the same time, old and fulfilled.

Blog #38 --Harlequin; How to Write a Harlequin Romance --
I swear, writing a romance novel is the worst thing is the world. Not because I have to stick to a mold, no because it's so... ugh! CHEESY! Or something... despite the dark fairy tale plot that's behind the story... I can't seem to be lively and imaginative to create dialogues that aren't always 'I love you' and 'let's be together forever' without wanting to gag. Someone help! :P Also, I have a new fan! Welcome, Guillaume, to my realm and universe! :) Over 1000 pageviews too, like wow! Thanks! :) I have no idea where they're from and all, people I guess, looking for me. So yeah, been rewriting and writing La Marquise, a wonderful and terrifying story, and I love and I love the characters but... it's hard to write, you have no idea. Okay, apart from that, I was called Chloe McAllinway today, on my cookie-gram that the Sigs gave me. They're so sweet! :3 It's official, that's my last name now :P Also been noticing that my characters have gotten less and less extravagant, lol my fave ones have been picked already and the others I don't want to spoil all! :P Okay, I'll do a random one :)
Update: Might as well talk about writing a Harlequin Romance. Ok, so there's this huge HUGE market for harlequin romance, and usually (don't follow what I write like if you want to be published) you have to fit in a very strict mould. So, this is what you need:
A strong female character who is usually a virgin or not used to sex and who is perhaps either very rebellious, jealous or scared of her newly wed-husband (whom she hates)
A mean male character who will become nice because of the woman in the later chapter
Another female character used to seduce the male character
A male character to support the other male and tell him wisdom
A high maid and other maids to support the rich female protagonist
Setting: God, somewhere effing romantic. Somewhere in the country, secluded, with beautiful sceneries and sunset. In a villa, castle, big mansion, somewhere big. Horses and cats help make the woman feel comfortable. Have the woman do something crazy like go out at night to skinny dip because it reminds her of something forbidden that she used to do as a child or something, but never something taboo.
Avoid taboos. No homosexuality, incest, things that would make a reader uncomfortable. The target audience is women ages 30-70. So, be considerate. The male's bad-assitude should also not include lots of violence. Bondage is acceptable though, because that's hot for a lot of people (not me though) ugh I had to pull myself through half-way of Fifty Shades of Grey, and I was like shoooootttt meeeeeeeeeee!!
So that's the mould, around. I'm bored now of writing. If you want to know more about the mould, write to Harlequin. The head chief editor (she's really nice) I missed her from like days when I went to do my internship. I hope she's going to come back. Have fun writing!! :)
Character of the Day:
Lowell
Appearances: Scream Wolf, Shambles.
Bio: Lowell's parents die of a disease that should have taken him with them, only his unnatural resistance to disease saved him and made him realize that he's different than the other people of the village, but not so different than three other boys who are like him. He feel undying fraternal love toward his 'brother' Liux, who is the Alpha Male of the three boys, whose genes mutated into the first Earthly Werewolves. Their blood is black as night and they are the ancestors of large names like Maurice Chavanon. Lowell takes care of the dairy farm and his 'brothers' help him once in a while with the beyls (bails) of hay. Lowell falls in love with Eluvia, Liux's sister, whom Connor preys upon.
