Blog#72--Society 101: Media Brainwashing--
Oh yeah? Oh yeah, AMAZON.CA? So, the first thing starts here. With a brain who knows how to control other brains. All it takes is somone who is used to watching television, who will defend an advertisement instead of hate it, (like I do). What's wrong with this picture you ask? I'll tell you what's wrong and I'll tell you in step form, using Subject Annabel.
Step one: Annabel sees this adverstisement, and realizes the word 'Beauty' next to products.
Step two: Annabel clicks on 'shop now' and is taken to a page that sells all sorts of creams, lip gloss, eyeshadow, the true works.
Step three: Annabel buys a product, and receives it in the mail (hopefully -_-)
Step four: Annabel wears (supposed mascara) product and thinks to herself "This is beauty"
Step five: Annabel has delusions about her beauty and feels that she is only beautiful when wearing what the media calls 'Beauty' products.
Read more by clicking button or the heading, cuz I can't fit all this on the main page, my computer starts overheating It's a granny, my comp. :p
Do you see the problem now? If you don't, maybe you should consider the fact that all women are beautiful and all men are handsome (because men are like O_o when you call them 'beautiful' *rolls eyes*) It's all right to wear make-up, I'm not against it, only I don't think women should rely on it like they do. I remember being in high-school and seeing girls walk the halls their faces caked in foundation. I never understood. We were youth, we were already so beautiful. But there had to be competition because our world is obsessed with beauty, with looks, with the outer appearance.
Should we focus inward and swoon over men and women because of their intelligence, we would maybe be farther in life than swooning over people because they're 'hot'.
I know the human mind is still selective and it is very normal to like someone because of their looks, but get to know some really pretty people and you'll start to realize that their beauty really is only on the outside. I don't mean that generally, because for sure there are 'beautiful people on the outside' that are very nice, I mean, I can't even tell who is 'that kind of beautiful' anymore because I find all the amazing women I know (and men) beautiful not because of their looks, but because I love them.
Seriously, girls, you are all beautiful and the first person who has to notice that is yourself. Sure there are days where you look like shit, I call it the Jekyll and Hyde moment where you think you look like crap and then a few hours later, you'll look nice and pretty. :3 Love yourself, eat well, gain control of what you love and harness that for the rest of your life! Be happy!

Character of the Day:
Victor Crowfield
Appearances: --
Bio: Victor is all-loving and ever-good. He is a youth who believes is truth, freedom, intelligence, postivity, who always has a smile on his face and wants to rid the world of evil. He soon realizes that freedom, truth and intelligence are not always positive, and that one must be corrupt at times in order to bloom and rebirth into a well-balanced being. I'm working on the book concept right now. Think, Alice in Wonderland where the Jabberwocky rips off her head and then destoys the world. It's like that a bit. :3 I need to architech that.
